BBC Writersroom


People in the Television and Video industry look for talented, clever, and skilled writers to be hired to write screenplays for their channels, whether it’s a comedy, drama, children, or horror series; all kinds of genres. BBC writersroom is always opened for new script ideas and are looking for original scriptwriters to submit in their screenplays.
When submitting your Script it can range from Film, TV Drama, TV Sitcom, Radio Sitcom, and Radio Drama.

When submitting a script for a TV DRAMA to BBC writersroom the submission must include the following:
  • A submission must consist of a full episode script that lasts around 45-60 minutes whether it is a series or serial.
  • The Script must be accompanied by a brief outline of 1-3 pages of how the series/serial will develop over added episodes.

When submitting a script for a FILMS to BBC writersroom the submission must include the following:
  • Submit in a full-length, complete screenplay with a full, laid-out outline of the plot.
  • Detailed treatments for scripts will NOT be accepted.
